and growing with great, caring and real pet owners.

Many  Safety Features are implemented to help us in Administration and our Members to do so.

Rate a Profile: Our supporting Members are now able to rate other Members Profiles on a scale from 1 to 10. Rating one, you are not at all impressed to Rating 10 the highest positive rating.

Profile vote: All Members have one vote for each Profile. By giving your vote, you either verify this Member as being genuine/real or not, or had positive communications or not. Make sure you either know this member or had contact/communication with this Member before voting either POSITIVE or NEGATIVE.

Members with a certain number of positive votes will receive a “Verified status”.

Use your vote with care.

Report Abuse:  All Members are able to Report Abuse. At Paw-Wow we do NOT support, encourage or tolerate Puppy Mills, Dog Fighting of any kind or commercialized animal farms/breeding. PLEASE everyone Report Abuse if you see anything in question, we will investigate.

Safety Features to come:  After a certain number of supporting members are reached, we will implement face control. This means our supporting members are going to vote for new members profiles, photos, if the new members can not reach a certain % of positive votes, his or her profile/account registration will be rejected/deleted.

Deleting your Profile/Account: Please keep in mind, deleting your profile/account with us is permanent. One of our added safety features allows us to recognize the unique computer IP address a member registers with. Any member not being in compliance with our Terms of use Agreement, and/or displayed misconduct will be terminated. Once such a members account has been deleted, this feature will prevent them from being able to re-register at Paw-Wow. So keep in mind, if you are not sure if Paw-Wow is for you, or benefits you, just remain a Free Basic Member for the time being.

Creating your Profile is one of the, no wait, is the most important tool at Paw-Wow.

A great deal of safety and trust will reflect in the way your profile looks and displays info about you and your pets.

Just like you would want your Website to look, and be informative.

 Being able to visit another Pet Owners Profile first will give you a chance to get to know this Pet Owner a bit more, before contacting them.

Pet Classifieds

Placing a Pet Classifieds on “Home” page, for everyone to view (incl. Non –members), of course is less safe (be wise about any personal info you display like e-mail or phone).

Caution: Free classifieds also tend to attract scammers and spammers. Please use caution and common sense as you approach anyone to initiate communication, and remember that your use of any information found on Horse, Dog and Cat Paw-Wow.com is AT YOUR OWN RISK. Placing a Pet Classified local on “My Home” is safer (only registered members can view them/basic free & supporting members).

Communicating with, and contacting supporting Gold Members

Communications and contact between supporting Members will always be the safest way to go.

Have not seen any of those spammers & scammers, or others sign up for paid membership.

All our supporting Members also have a more detailed Profile for Members to visit, giving everyone the opportunity to visit there first, and to get to know more about the Member, before contacting or initiating communications.

 We have in great detail discussed, and of course listened to our members, to decide to implement paid supporting membership. It brings a great deal of safety and protection for our supporting members, and even so we are aware we might be growing slower, than we would being a free site. We have decided the quality, and members to be genuine, will be more important. After all we are talking & connecting about our pets here, and not some merchandise.

Secure Payments through PayPal

When signing up for paid membership you will be directed to Pay Pal, and from there you may log into your Pay Pal account, or if you do not have one, you will be able to pay over the secure server to purchase a subscription with your credit/debit card.

All your sensitive information is transmitted with 128 bit encryption through Pay Pal. You are also guaranteed your purchase through Pay Pal.

We will be welcoming Pet Owners from all US -States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany.

While our safety features are going in place, we will in the beginning limit registrations to the above areas only.

We apologize to all of you great Pet Owners from other Countries, and we sincerely hope to be able to add more Countries soon.
